some tips on protecting your privacy while on the internet.
1: Never, ever, give out your real name, address, ETC. (this one is kind of obvious, but it's important)
2: Avoid posting pictures of yourself, or pictures that could reveal where you live. (IE, don't post a picture that shows, say, your zip code in the background.)
3: If you're under 13, you may want to hide your age.

-Also, even if I'm not an admin, don't EVAH give out your password to anybody (kinda obvious, lol), no matter what somebody has to offer, or how much they tell you they won't take your account.
Now, these tips are very generalized, but they will help protect your privacy.

and if you're like me, (paranoid =P), you'll probably go a few steps further, like using a proxy (since your IP can be used to find where you live), blocking targeted cookies, and so on.
