Here are several examples of God-Moding. (God Moding is against the rules)
Also, even if something isn't listed here, it may still be god-moding. I can't think of every possible type of god moding.
And then everyone but me died.
I think this one is pretty obvious.
And then my army of (X) possesses the other players
You cannot force another player to be possessed, serve you, ETC.
And then (X player)'s planet exploded.
No destroying, capturing, ETC other peoples planets without their permission.
*Kills (Player X)*
much like the above example, you cannot kill, capture, ETC another player without their permission.
*Takes over (Galaxy X)*
No taking over
anything in one post. (No one-post victories at all, in fact)
And then I go into an alternate universe that's much more advanced than ours and is ruled by my faction, recover, and come back with advanced technology.
This is why traveling between universes is not allowed.
I fire a (Either Hyperspace Bomb or Subspace Bomb).
Hyperspace Bombs and Subspace Bombs are not allowed.
AND ABSOLUTELY NO REMOTES! (if you need to ask...)
One god-mode will result in a warning, and maybe a loss of rep. two god-modes will result in a warning and a loss of rep. three 'strikes' and you may be banned.
If another player is god-moding, tell an admin. If the player is god-moding to you, you may god-mode if you must to get away from them. (But not to punish them. Two wrongs don't make a right.)
Also, sometimes it's unclear whether something is god-moding or not. Just use your best judgment. (Tip: if you have to ask, don't do it.)
Please note that the admin in charge of story can break some of these rules (Destroy planets, take over galaxies, capture people) if it's absolutely necessary for story purposes. add any other examples of god-moding you can think of
